Cofton Park, Birmingham - A wonderful open space!

Cofton Park is close to Longbridge and the Lickey Hills. 135 acres of rolling fields and trees. At Lowhill Lane.

Cofton Park was where Pope Benedict XVI held mass in 2010 during his visit to Beautify Cardinal Henry Newman. The park is near Longbridge on Lowhill Lane, Lickey Road and Groveley Lane. It's not too far from the Lickey Hills Country Park and the former MG Rover (Austin) works used to be nearby. The land bought by Birmingham City Council in 1933 from the trustees for William Walter Hinde. Lowhill Farm used to be here. Cofton Nursery are also based at this park.
