The Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul is situated in Witton Lane in Aston. It was the tallest building in Birmingham from 1838 to 1855. Not far from Villa Park, Aston Hall & Park.

Dartmouth Circus is an island at Dartmouth Middleway with the Aston Expressway, A38(M) going under it. The Boulton & Watt Engine of 1817 can be seen here. Linked by subways and footbridge.
Bartley Reservoir, a reservoir for drinking water is located close to the City and is a bird watchers delight. It is also home to Bartley Sailing Club.

At the busy Five Ways Island is a small public space with wonderful flower beds. Subways called walkways links the pavements to all surrounding roads. Site of a Grammar School 1883-1958.

Curtis Gardens is situated on the Fox Hollies Road in Acocks Green, Birmingham. Formerly the estate of Fox Hollies Hall (demolished in 1937).
The Kingfisher Country Park is situated in East Birmingham and part of Solihull. Starts at the Coventry Road in Hay Mills and runs all the way to Chelmsley Wood.
The Westley Vale Millennium Green is located in Acocks Green, Birmingham, not far from Acocks Green Station and the Grand Union Canal. A green space for the local community.
The Harborne Walkway is now a walking and cycling path from Harborne taking in Summerfield Park in Birmingham. It was formerly the Harborne Railway line which closed in 1963.
Selly Oak Triangle is where the Bristol Road meets Harborne Lane and Chapel Lane. Sainsbury's used to occupy the site until they moved to the new Shopping Park in 2018.

Acocks Green Recreation Ground was one of several pieces of land donated to Yardley Rural District Council by the Yardley Charity Estates in October 1898.
West Heath Park is situated in West Heath, Birmingham, between Staple Lodge Road and Rednal Road.

Green Lane Park is in Solihull near Shirley. Also called the Colebrook Recreation Ground. It was formerly called Mill Lodge Park.
Earlswood Lakes is in Solihull. Canal feeder reservoirs to the Stratford-on-Avon Canal.
Newey Goodman Park is in Hall Green, Birmingham near the Stratford Road. Used to be a Recreation Ground / Open Space. The council renamed it to Newey Goodman Play Area in 2022.
Olton Jubilee Park was opened in the 1930s to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of George V.
